Here at JKL we have been printing clothing for over 10 years now so there’s not a lot we don’t know about making a printed logo look good on a garment. Operating in-house we use the very latest print machine technology coupled with expert printers.
The quality and final outcome of a printed garment is dictated by many factors started by producing the individual screens for each colour contained within the logo or image. This is why at JKL we ensure each and every printed logo is set up correctly and an accurate proof is produced for customer approval before we begin to make up the screens or print onto the garments. This process is free of charge to our customers and involves looking at the logo design, the type and weight of fabric it is going onto, and the number of colours in the logo. By doing this we ensure that what is produced is the best possible outcome in terms of how the logo looks. We use the artwork the customer provides, match the pantone colours and size the artwork to the position required.
An important factor in producing the best possible printing results is the artwork. High resolution artwork will make a difference to the finished garment and will determine the outcome.
Following the production of the artwork we then produce an electronic proof for our customers to approve before we print the logo onto their chosen garments. At this stage the customer has the option to make any changes they require to get exactly the end result they are looking for.
Once approved we produce the individual screens ensure the colours are an exact match to what is required through the pantone colour system and then print the garments.
